The Loose Moose Theatre Company, which was formed in 1977, has an international reputation for innovation and excellence in improvisational theatre. Techniques for training and presenting improvisation which have been created by co-founder and former Artistic Director Keith Johnstone, and developed at Loose Moose are currently used worldwide. The Loose Moose also acts as a training centre for individuals interested in improvisational theatre, and we are very proud of our many alumni that are now working in the areas of film, television, and stage.
Artistic Director, Dennis Cahill is one of the founding members of The Loose Moose Theatre and has developed, directed, written for, and appeared in productions over the last 28 years. He has performed in Vancouver, Toronto, New York City, San Francisco, Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Helsinki and lovely little towns and cities throughout his home province of Alberta. Dennis has taught throughout Canada, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, Japan, and the United States.
